Identity Federation Example with Microsoft Intune

This tutorial guides you through configuring identity federation with Microsoft Intune for your Cloud Temple organization.

Prerequisites​

  • Administrator access to Microsoft Intune
  • Owner permissions for your Cloud Temple organization
  • Access to the Cloud Temple console

Configuration​

Configuring identity federation with Microsoft Intune follows a process similar to that of Entra ID, with specific considerations for mobile device management.

Step 1: Configuration on the Microsoft Intune side​

  1. Log in to your Microsoft Intune portal
  2. Navigate to the authentication settings
  3. Configure a new application for Cloud Temple

Step 2: Configuration Request​

To configure federation with Microsoft Intune, please create a support request in the Cloud Temple console specifying:

  • Your organization name
  • A contact name along with their email and phone number
  • Intune configuration details
  • Desired authentication settings

Step 3: Testing and Validation​

Once the configuration is complete, test authentication with your Intune users to ensure that federation is working correctly.
